Celebrating Easter for this Friday's Class!

Here's a little project and card we'll be making at stamp class this week! I found these cute ideas out in the blog world, and couldn't resist sharing them with my classes. I love how some of our basic punches can really create the holiday!!

I hope you'll be at class to make them too!

Good as Gold Card Set

This set of cards and presentation box are made using the note cards and embellishments from the Good as Gold Card Kit from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  You will be able to cut the note cards up to create the designer series paper for the cards and box.  The Happy Watercolor stamp set works really well as the focal point for the cards.  The presentation box is created using the Envelope Punch Board.  You will have five cards and most of the embellishments from the Good as Gold Card Kit leftover for more creations, or you could make two sets and give one away!

Simple Stems for a Challenge!

I made this card today for the Sketch Challenge over at Craft Project Central. I have had the Deco Labels Framelits and been wanting to take them out and play! So today was the day! I love how the Circle Framelit piece fits as a nice inner layer.

And I'm lovin' the Simple Stems flower set!! I really love how dainty this little flower bunch is, and I think it's perfect in Blushing Bride. And it may be a little hard to see, but I added some Dazzling Details. They really look super cute in real life!

And here's the Sketch from Craft Project Central, hop on over and join the Challenge - you could win a FREE subscription to any month of projects!!

Have fun, and Good Luck if you join the Challenge!

Just Sayin' with Fresh Prints

I LOVE the Just Sayin' stamps and coordinating Framelit set. So one day (a while ago...) I had it out and was inspired to make a few cards. This one was a quick one with a big splash of banner pieces from the Fresh Prints papers.

And this one was just a quick thank you card - good for anyone, male, female, kids, adult...

And this one was a kind of feminine one. But it was a copycat of a more masculine version that I had made (minus the Lace Tape and Bow - the other one just had a Crumb Cake knot around the middle).

It's always fun to just take a couple of stamp sets and one set of papers and just make a few cards - keep your supplies limited and sometimes it makes it a little easier to decide what to do!

Let the Fringe Begin!

Perhaps you’ve looked at Stampin’ Up!’s Fringe Scissors and wondered what—besides paper grass—you can create with them.  This tutorial will show you how to create a closed-loop bow, an open fringe bow, a fun fringe card, and twisted fringe trim for cards, scrapbook pages, gifts, and other projects.

A Sweet Flower Topped Window Box for Class!

This simple, but sweet little Spiral Flower topped Decorative Window Box is the project we'll be making at stamp class this week. I'm so addicted to making these little spiral flowers - they're so cool! I do have to admit that the first one I made was a little awkward, but after that... I couldn't stop! (Did you see the flower ball project I made?)

So the focus of this project is obviously the Spiral Flower, but how cute does the rest of it look when it's all put together? The Blossom punch is what we'll use to make the leaves (it's just 1/3 of a cut of the Blossom punch). And tie a quick ribbon just around the flap - makes it easily reusable! So quick and simple!!

I hope to see you at class this week - and I have some other super cool, great things to share with you too! Plus it's still Sale-A-Bration - great feeebies with your $50 order!!

Or place it atop a candlestick holder for a dramatic display. No matter how the recipient decides to display it, they will be delighted to receive it in the Custom Made Window Box, along with the coordinating card.
