Be Merry String Art

Get ready for the holiday season with this beautiful Be Merry sign. This art is sure to get you into the holiday spirit! It also doubles as a greeting card holder! When those holiday cards start coming in just use a regular paper clip to attach the card to the ribbon and you will have all your cards on display! There is a card included so you can make one to give as a gift!

Truly Grateful Treat Bag for Class!

We'll be making this cute little treat bag for stamp class this week! It's just one of Stampin' Up!'s Tag a Bag Gift Bags, and we're "gusseting" it. That gives it some fullness, and allows it to stand on its own! :)

Here's a picture taken from the side - just so you can see how it looks!

As part of re-creating the bag's shape, we will be trimming the top opening of the bag - and using our new Rotary Addition to the Stampin' Trimmer, along with the Tiny Wave blade - I LOVE these new options for cutting!!

And, of course, if you'll be coming to class this week - you'll find out what 'yummy' treat you'll get to put inside the bag (or you can eat it, and give the empty bag to someone!).

Hope to see you at class,

Holiday Decorative Plate Collection

You will love having this beautiful plate displayed in your home year round. Each of the 8 inserts has a Velcro back so that you can easily switch out the center each month for the appropriate holiday.  Or, when you are not in a holiday month, use the generic everyday insert. This would also make a wonderful gift for a special friend or family member.

Photo Keeper

Summer is over, but you don’t have to forget about your vacation just yet. Make this super cool Photo Keeper that can also function as a mini scrap book in a box. Keep your treasured photo memories in one place.  Its size makes it perfect to take it with you in your bag to hold your pictures while you travel. This is also the perfect present with the matching greeting card and small embellishments to someone who loves to travel and take pictures.

Timeless Talk Desktop Card Set

This project makes a darling card box, and when the cards are gone you can use as a notepaper holder!  Simply cut 8-1/2” x 11” sheets of copy paper into quarters and you have notepaper for the holder!  This project makes a nice addition to any desk.  Also, a great gift idea or class idea for demonstrators.

Witches Brew BOO for a Challenge!

I finally decided to join the Card Challenge over at Craft Project Central! It's been a while since I've participated in a card challenge - and I realized it's pretty fun!! I like that I just have to choose the details I like, then I just put it into the given format! I really have to do this more often!

So here's the sketch they gave. And you can even get the details on the measurements and all that good stuff by clicking HERE. And, of course, I couldn't be exact with all that they did, but I like my little modifications!

And here's a little close-up of some the fun parts I added! I used the Big Shot to die cut the letters from the Typeset Alphabet Bigz set with Basic Black card stock. Then I used the 2-Way Glue pen with the Black Stampin' Glitter onto the letters - love the SPARKLE!! And the cool little 'spiral-y' black thing is just a scrap of Basic Black card stock that I twirled until it looked cool and Glue-Dotted it on! - I think it makes a fun little accent!

Hope you like it - and hope you go over and join the Challenge too!

Autumn Theme Boxed Card Set

In this project make some cards that “match” the season.  Who wants a spring themed birthday card when they have a birthday in October?  In this project, you’ll craft some cards with rich fall colors for various occasions, plus a great box that’s perfect for gift giving – if you don’t decide to keep the cards for yourself!

Fall Centerpiece

It’s officially Autumn and time to put out Fall decorations!  Wouldn’t this Fall Centerpiece be wonderful to add to your collection?  Fall colors are so beautiful, and this centerpiece is full of them!  The centerpiece would look great on any dining room table, mantle, bay window, or entry table.  This project would make a fun class, too!

Pop N Cuts Tote for Class!

This sweet little Pop N Cuts Tote is the project we'll be making at my stamp classes this week! I'm really loving the Pop N Cuts die now that I've found so many different ways to use it! Last month we used the die to make a super quick Pocket Card.

The little inset box is a breeze to make too! And we're adding the cute little tag to the front - super easy, and so versatile to use for a little gift or treat for someone!

Hope to see you at class this week!
